The great advantage of this variety of 'Draughts' is that four people can play instead of only two. Each player sits on one side of the board, and each has four men to use. These are set out on the respective back lines (black squares only). The snag is that there are only two colours of Draughtsmen! So, to get over this, the first player has single white pieces, the second has single black pieces, the third has double white pieces, and the fourth has double black pieces. The game proceeds in the usual way. The only difference is that the players can move in any direction, backwards or forwards, as long as they move diagonally. The object is to take everyone else's men without being taken yourself. Back to Board Travel Games Menu
